Born and bread in Southern California, Lisa Bristow grew up surrounded by technology early while also cultivating her love of art and literature, graduating with a degree in English American literature from University of California San Diego in 1990. She worked for Blue Sky Software (later eHelp corporation) which was later acquired by Adobe, Lisa gained experience in working with software and helped developed key products in the training market. It is here that she learned project management, working with developers and developing clean, clear UI for the users.
Moving to North Carolina in 2005, she worked for a Yahoo developer. In 2009 Web Stores and More was launched with her partner, Randy Wemhoff. In 2010 WSM was included on the Yahoo developers directory. In January 2011 Lisa became the sole owner of WSM and developed a strong loyal Yahoo following.
